By Any Means Necessary.

Malcolm X was assassinated today, February 21st, 1965. He is what makes me proud to be Muslim/Afghan. Thank you for your inspiration.

Some favourite quotes (ofcourse, there are MANY more)

"If you're not ready to die for it, put the word 'freedom' out of your vocabulary."

"Without education, you're not going anywhere in this world."

"You don't have to be a man to fight for freedom. All you have to do is to be an intelligent human being."

"I am not a racist. I am against every form of racism and segregation, every form of discrimination. I believe in human beings, and that all human beings should be respected as such, regardless of their color."

"There is nothing in our book, the Koran, that teaches us to suffer peacefully. Our religion teaches us to be intelligent. Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery. That’s a good religion."

too bad he was racist militant, he wouldve made a great Marine DI...when will racism stop, white hate blacks, blacks hate whites, mexicans hate whites, whites hate mexicans, and vice versa, when will we as humans stop clinging to old hatreds like fools?
he wasn't a racist militant, dude. he only found trouble understanding why those people of African ancestry who were supposedly "battling" racism were marching and making speeches, but not much else.

he only asked respect and recognition of human dignity from the Euro-American majority, like the civil rights activists, and he demanded for Afro-Americans to respect themselves and their own humanity, which included the right to react in defense. If that's what one calls "racist militarism" or a "hatemongerer", then I don't want to know how that same one would define "a man of God".

Malcolm X was a great guy, and I hold him in the highest of regards, especially on this day.
Well said. =)
Racism is horrible. It's everywhere, definitely. My town is going very downhill, and racism is a huge problem. But it's everywhere...When will it end.
what a great guy - Allah irhumoo
I feel the same way you do. I'm proud to know their are people like him who were willing to stand up against prejudice for the sake of bettering humanity.
That's wonderful to know, my friend.
